      I, Adeline E. Jacobs, of/the City of Middletown, in the County of Orange and State of New York, being of sound mind and memory, do make, publish and declare this my last WILL AND TESTAMENT, in manner following, that is to say:

      FIRST.-- I direct that all my just debts and funeral expenses be paid.

     SECOND.-- I hereby direct that my husband, GEORGE H. JACOBS, erect a suitable monument in the cemetary plot at Phillipsburg, N. Y., known as Wallkill Cemetary.

     THIRD.-- I give and bequeath to my daughter, MRS. GRANT TERWILLIGER, (GERTRUDE TERWILLIGER,) Middletown, N. Y., my diamond ring, all other jewelery and that all clothing and three (3) pieces of furniture that she would want. Also the china closet and all it contains.

     FOURTH.-- To each of my grandchildren, I give and bequeath a chair of their own selection.

     FIFTH.-- To my friend, LENA GAGE, I give and bequeath my Black Walnut Library Table.

     SIXTH.-- To her daughter, ETHEL GAGE, I give and bequeath my Willow Rocker that is in the Dining Room.

     SEVENTH.-- To my friend, LENA HESSENBERGER, I give and bequeath a pair of my best pillows.

     EIGHT.-- I give and bequeath to my husband, GEORGE. H. JACOBS, all real, personal property, money or anything that I may own after the above gifts have been taken out, to be absolutely his to do with as he may wish.

     ORDERED, ADJUDGED, AND DECREED that the said instrument so offered for probate is the LAST WILL AND TESTAMENT; hereby revoking all former wills by me made.

     IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto subscribed my name the 24 day of April, in the year One Thousand Nine Hundred and Thirty-one.

     We, who names are hereto subscribed, DO CERTIFY, that on the 24 day of April, 1931 ADELINE E. JACOBS, the testator, subscribed her name to this instrument in our presence and in the presence of each of us, and at the same time, in our presence and hearing, declared the same to be her last Will and Testament, and requested us to sign our names thereto as witnesses/to the execution thereof, which we hereby do in the presence of the testator and of each other, on the said date, and write opposite our names our respective places of residence.

     A duly verified petition having been heretofore filed herein for the probate of the paper writing purporting to be the Last Will and Testament of the above named decedent, setting forth facts showing jurisdiction in this court; all persons entitled by law to notice of this proceeding being before the Court by written petition, by appearance in the manner prescribed in the Surrogate's Court Act or by duly executed and acknowledged waiver of citation; the proofs and allegations of the parties appearing having been heard; the Surrogate having inquired particularly into all the facts and circumstances, and being satisfied of the genuineness of said Will, that it was duly executed, that the said testatrix was at the time of executing said Will in all respects competent to make a Will and was not under restraint, and the probate of said Will not having been contested,
     IT IS ORDERED, ADJUDGED AND DECREED that the paper writing so propounded as/the Last Will and Testament of said deceased, be and the same is hereby admitted to probate as the Will of said deceased, valid to pass both real and personal property, and that LETTERS TESTAMENTARY be issued thereon to the executor who may qualify thereunder.
